Wood County Emergency Management has implemented a new rapid emergency public notification system. The new system provides rapid call technology to notify the community quickly pertaining to threats and everyday public safety needs.
Wood County Emergency Management has acquired all of the public local carrier telephone numbers. “They do not have” cell phone numbers or other voice devices that are utilized by the public. Therefore, if you have a cell phone or another voice device and wish to have those numbers added to the Wood County Emergency Call List, please do one of the following:
1. Find the logo depicted below, click on it, and you will be prompted to enter your address and the associated device telephone numbers.

2. Call the Emergency Management Office at (304) 420-0911 and ask to speak with Emergency Management Director Ed Hupp.
